Tutor

Sylvia Geczy started her music studies at the age of 5. After 6 years playing the violin and the piano she took a successful entrance exam and continued her studies at the Bela Bartok Music Secondary School. She received her Bachelor Teacher Degree from the Ferenc Liszt University of Music in 1996. Sylvia took part in several chamber orchestral trainings, and international symphonic orchestral courses.
After graduation she started to work as the second leader of the Opera Orchestra at the Hungarian National Theatre in Miskolc, meanwhile she taught children at the Fazekas Music School.
From 2000 she worked at the Dohnanyi Symphonic Orchestra in Budapest and taught at the Weiner Music School. She played with orchestras in Germany, Austria, Spain, France, Italy and England.

Current age range from 5 to 50, from begginers up to professional musicians.
Each lesson is specifically comprised of warm - ups, scales and exercises where students work on technique, sight reading, theory and ear training to sculpt the pieces that have been uniquely selected for each students according to their ability, interest and skill level.
The goal of the lesson is to develop their life and musical skills through music, while having fun at the same time.
